2026/27 SIM CALENDAR

Choose your event.

Each Sim is planned around a major UK race weekend. Wirral runs on Saturdays and Liverpool on Sundays, avoiding the gyms’ busiest classes.

Sim dates confirmed: Saturdays at Wirral and Sundays at Liverpool, using the closest suitable date to the recommended four-week race lead-in.

HYROX combines a 1km run with one functional workout station, repeated eight times. The order stays the same, so your Sim gives you a true picture of your race-day readiness.

Questions, answered.

Do I need to be an EmpoweredFIT member?

No. The Sims can be booked by members and non-members, subject to the spaces available for each event.

Who pays for a Doubles or Relay entry?

One lead booker pays the full team total. They add the other athletes’ details during booking, and the team can split the cost between themselves afterwards.

What is the difference between Open and Pro?

The race flow is the same, but Pro uses heavier station weights. Singles and Doubles entrants choose Open or Pro; Relay follows the Relay standard.

Which race category should I choose?

Singles entrants choose Women’s or Men’s. Doubles and Relay teams choose Mixed, Women’s or Men’s. This is separate from the Open or Pro weight standard.

What happens after I book?

When online bookings open, the lead booker will receive confirmation and event information after payment. The chosen wave is confirmed only when the payment succeeds.

Can I cancel or get a refund?

Entries are non-refundable if you can no longer attend. This does not affect your statutory rights; if EmpoweredFIT cancels the event, affected bookings will receive a full refund.
